The 18th day of the 4th month of the year of Emergence

This is a cedar wax wing that I took on the Riverwalk.  They are certainly colorful birds with a mask that makes them look like the Lone Ranger.  Remember him kids?  I actually met Chief Silverheels this spring.  He is the son of the Jay who played Tonto opposite the Long Ranger.

Unfortunately, the image had to be cropped fairly hard, so I can't make him into a big print.  But for the blog he is just fine.  Double click to see the full screen image and enjoy.
